Since 2020, Ukraine has entered the three-top potato-producing countries and is not leaving its position despite the war and a full-scale invasion in 2022.
Potato, as a crop, take the fourth place in terms of cultivation in the world.
Potato production in Ukraine reaches more than 20-22 million tons every year, of which only 1-2% are grown by industrial enterprises.
Despite the occupation of the territories of Ukraine, where potatoes are traditionally grown, production volumes do not decrease from year to year due to the increase in potato yield.
