The second Meeting of the Discussion Club

On March 20, 2025, the second meeting of the Discussion Club was held, with the meeting topic: "Potato planting: seed preparation, planting conditions, seed treatment". The meeting was held in a mixed format: at the Potato Institute and online.

During the meeting, welcoming remarks were made by: Executive Director of the UAPP - Olga Samoilichenko, Agricultural Counsellor at Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine - Carolien Spaans and Director of the AGRIСO Ukraine - Mykola Gordiichuk.

The participants of the meeting actively discussed the following topics:

• What are the advantages of planting methods: without or with simultaneous ridge formation?
• What influences the choice of a treatment agent?
• Which method of seed treatment is better: in a planter or on a roller table?
